- Minimum attachment duration is one (1) month and maximum two (2) months.
- ASA programme is implemented in the country.
- All application for ASA programme should be certified by the Dean and approved by the Vice Chancellor or Deputy-Vice Chancellor (Industry & Community Network).
- All academic staffs are eligible to apply for the ASA programme once in a year as a replacement for research leave.
- ASA programme can be done anytime throughout the year but staff on sabbatical leave in that year is not eligible to apply.
- Subsistence payment for staff that joined the ASA programme is the same as the sabbatical programme, and the payment can only be claim upon approval of the Head of School/Centre.
- Academic staffs do not have to sign an agreement letter to join the ASA programme. However, a report of benefits gained after the programme must be sent to the Head of School/Centre and a copy to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ICN), two (2) weeks after attachment dateline.
- All administration of the ASA programme is based on the approval of the PTJ Head for the School/Centre’s yearly budget.
