Universiti Sains Malaysia through Social Innovation & Knowledge Transfer Unit continuosly supports the goals of USM's APEX Agenda; to empower the bottom billion, and to propel USM's visibility as a knowledge powerhouse in support of our country's socio-economic progress, eduacation and human capital development.
This is in-line with the Ministry of Higher Education's agenda to positioning the university as knowledge transfer for the good of the community. As the commitment, Social Innovation & Knowledge Transfer Unit believes that innovation should be integral part in increasing the community's quality life. We are of the postion to utilize the university knowledge and expertise that been develop from years of research and studies to assist the people in acquiring new technology, propoer finance management and solutions to community difficulties or challenged faced.
USM has collaborated with numerous agency and goverment entities to implement programs/ projects that covers various aspects such as socio-economic, education, human capital and also training in community engagement. Through that collaboration and strategic partnership, USM has entrusted of total amount RM 18,118,404.90 for 25 programs/ projects as for 2022.
